Carrier and its second tier brands:  Bryant,  Payne,  ICP,  Day & Night and  Tempstar, will be moving manufacturing to Mexico.  We will no longer be installing any Carrier products.  We will continue to service them,  and probably a lot more often, in the future.   Click the image above for more information.  Willis Carrier invented the modern air conditioner.  He must be spinning in his grave.

Contrast that with Goodman.  Daikin,  Goodman’s parent company,  recently completed construction on The Daikin Texas Technology Park,  DTTP.  The 4 million square foot,  500 acre manufacturing and distributing complex is located just outside of Houston,  Texas.  The DTTP operates around the clock with 3 shifts.  The DTTP will employ 5,000 Americans by the end of 2018!  This is the largest HVAC manufacturing facility in the would.  All Goodman product will be made at the DTTP.
